My mom and I went to Nashville (she’s also a trained presenter) for The Climate Project North American Summit...a gathering of all the trained presenters, supposedly just from North America, but there were people from 11 other countries there too.  

Al Gore was commissioning us to not only educate on the science of climate change, but to emphasize action that must be taken.  The Alliance for Climate Protection gave some talks about the Waxman-Markey Bill and encouraged us to get involved in community organizing.

This is something we’ve been committed to from the beginning.  So, we’re working on how to translate legislation like this bill to students.  Our voices matter, even though we can’t vote!
