And then, later, he gave an *awesome* speech to a group of about 400 people. Afterwords, there was a question and answer period.


So I decided to ask Al Gore a question, “What role can youth play in the movement to stop the climate crisis?”


Not only did he answer my question, much better than I had expected, but he also introduced me to his audience!


He told my story, and brought me up there with him to ask my question.


YES!!! My life can end now, I don’t care. I have met Al Gore, I need nothing else.

A few months earlier, I had sent Gore a letter, telling him about Kids vs Global Warming.


And he remembered me! He said he knew about the SLAP poles, and he knew that I applied to be trained, but I was turned down.
